SUPERLIFT® PDO Thread Cog Nose Lift

PDO Nose Cog Thread is a sterile, absorbable suture specialized for nasal contouring, made of biocompatible Polydioxanone (PDO). It is usually equipped with 19G or 23G L-type blunt needles and has a bidirectional barb design, which can firmly anchor nasal soft tissues. Implanted minimally invasively into the nasal bridge, nasal columella, or nasal tip, it immediately shapes a straighter and more three-dimensional nose shape. The thread will be fully absorbed by the body in 6 – 12 months via hydrolysis, and during this period, it continuously stimulates collagen synthesis to enhance nasal skin elasticity, maintaining the shaping effect for a longer time. It is widely used for mild correction of nasal contour, such as lifting the nasal tip and straightening the nasal bridge, with the advantages of no obvious scars and quick recovery.

How to use PDO Thread?

• Determine the number of thread and treatment area on the face.
• Inject the Anesthetic on the treatment area.
• Make punching with needle, insert the cannula and then pilfer the inner part of cannula.
• Pull the thread out from the needle and Insert the thread into the cannula which is put on the face.

(Use a cannula to make tunnel for the thread and insert the thread)

• Pull out the inserted cannula after treatment done, as holding the end of Cog thread inserted into the face.
• Press the treatment area in order to get well the thread stuck in the skin.
• Make Sure thread does not come out from the skin and then, Cut off the remaining outside part threads.
• Press slightly up and down around the punctured skin.
